I don’t write a ton about music here, but this merited something.

Possibly one of the most incredible musical experiences in all of the things that I’ve encountered has been The Dear Hunter’s ‘The Color Spectrum.’ An absolutely profound collection of 9 EPs representing each stage of the color spectrum including the absence of all color (black) and the presence of all color (white). It’s one of those that deserves a decent set of headphones and a comfortable chair. Speaks in so very many tones of voice and brings different emotions to the surface per experience.

Last year, The Dear Hunter played the ENTIRE collection live up in the Northeast. I was sad to miss it, but am overjoyed that they’re releasing a live DVD of the entire performance. Below is the trailer. I believe it hits shelves in March at some point.
