This video, while cute, provides an interesting perspective to brands seen across the globe. Some are instantly relatable to this 5-year-old audience, others are rather a ways off. I suppose for me it’s intriguing because some of these brands, even to me as a 26-year-old designer, seem off the mark or I’m just not certain what they’re supposed to be. Granted I’m aware of each and every one of them, It still raises some questions about the success of a brand’s recognition.
Sony Ericsson? C’mon guys. I get really frustrated when I see this Web 2.0 crap all over brand identities. If your logo isn’t good without faux shines and gradients…Maybe it just ISN’T good. Novel thought.
