I’ve been going down this path lately of discussing vulnerability. And while terrifying, it’s so necessary to find the strength to be bare.
If you can’t take that leap, how can you ever reach the other side? If you can’t open yourself up to what the world might send, How can you find truth? Happiness? Purpose?
This piece, “The Light That Escapes,” showcases the light that each and every one of us possess within. The energy that comprises us individually and connects us collectively. We are entities of vivid life—radiating energy outward. Strengthening each other. Completing one another.
Yet so many of us keep that light caged. And for what reason? What is it that you fear so greatly that you would keep from the world your true potential? Your true capability?
There’s such great hope for us as a people. Such light within us. I challenge you to find the courage to light the dark corners and cast out those insecurities/doubts/worries that would cage the fire inside.
It’s not an easy road by any means. But the easy roads are never the right ones. And sure, shining that brightly and openly can lead to hurt. But it can also lead to boundless joy, endless trust, and unimaginable love. Surely, that is worth the risk.
”Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Or would you rather be the architect of what we might create?”
Be brave. Stand strong.
Be the light that escapes the darkness and captivity.
Light the way.
